Regarding VENTILATION, I agree with your opinion that the sentence "This cargo should not be ventilated." should be kept. Regarding CARLRIAGE, please insert the words " if necessary" in the above sentence, because seal is not necessary for short voyage.

I withdraw my proposal on this issue.
My proposal was related to the precaution in the column "CARRIAGE",i.e., "Should be kept as cool and dry as reasonably practicable." The concrete means for keeping the cargo cool and dry should be included in this column. Taking the Norwegian proposal into consideration, the following sentence can be included this column in lieu of above sentence:
"Precaution should be paid to prevent ingress of water into the cargo hold."
I would like to invite Norway to comment on this issue.
(d1) AMMONIUM NITRATE FERTILIZERS Type A UN Nos. 2067, 2068, 2069, and 2070 - HOLD CLEANLINESS
I proposed the sentence taking into account the "Segregation and stowage requirements" in the existing BC Code. Special attention should be paid not only to residues of grain also to residues of wood chip, etc. Therefore, I would like to propose following sentence:
"Special attention should be paid to residues of grain and other organic materials."
I agree with the text "Do not ventilate so as to keep moisture to minimum" in VENTILATION. Taking the comments by Norway and the Coordinator into account, I consider that the concrete means for keeping the cargo cool and dry during carriage in bulk can be incorporated in the column for CARRIAGE. When the concrete means are not specified, "No special precaution" will be suitable for this column.

(141) Concerning the Coordinator's comment. "Natural surface ventilation" is not suitable for this column. If special precaution was necessary, for example, one of the following text could be included in this column: (see my comment No.129)
"Natural ventilation should be carried out for this cargo";
"Care should be taken to prevent ingress of air into this cargo (surface ventilation only)";
"This cargo should not be ventilated mechanically"; or
"This cargo should not be ventilated."
