(13) Stowage factor(m3/t) in the list has a range, in general. However, stowage factors of some cargoes are written by a fixed value, such as 0.43 in FLY ASH. Basically, stowage factor might not be limited by a fixed value. Therefore, the word "approximate" is needed in the column of "STOWAGE FACTOR", if the value is limited in a single value. Similarly, the word "approximate" is needed in the column of "BULK DENSITY", if the value is limited in a single value. Furthermore, the size of some cargoes are specified, such as CARBORUNDUM. In such cases, the word "approximate" is needed in the column of "SIZE".
2.4 FIRE PROTECTION IN CARGO SPACES
