SECTION 2:

 

REGULATIONS FOR MARINA USAGE BY CLIENTS AND VISITORS

 

2.1 The washing down of topsides of vessels will be permitted using only water or water with an approved standard of bio-degradable detergent.

 

2.2 The carrying out of major repairs, painting or refitting of vessels in wet berths, moorings or parking areas is prohibited.

 

2.3 The only repairs and maintenance which may be carried out within the Marina are minor repairs with the consent of the management.

 

2.4 No outside labour may be employed oil the Marina without tile consent of the management, who must be consulted prior to work commencing.

 

2.5 All garbage shall be disposed of in the appropriate recycling bins or waste containers provided.

 

2.6 All lines, halyard rigging and loose fittings on vessels must be secured at all times to eliminate uneccessary noise.

 

2.7 The excessive running of engines. motors and generators whilst at the Marina will not be permitted.

 

2.8 The hanging and drying of clothing from vessels is not permitted.

 

2.9 The bottom scraping or cleaning of vessels that is likely to remove anti-foulent or any other deleterious material in the marine environment and mooring areas is prohibited.

 

2.10 All signs and directions for safety and pollution controls are to be adhered to by users.

 

2.11 Marina users must observe the rules and regulations of the State Marine Authority for the movement of vessels.

 

2.12 All users to preserve the Marina amenities for other Marina users and any local residents by controlling noise emissions and other disturbing influences. Marina management will exercise the right to remove the offending vessel from the Marina.

 

2.13 In the event of an offending vessel being unattended. Marina staff will board the vessel for the purpose of preventing the offence.

 

2.14 Swimming, diving and underwater activities within tile Marina are not permitted.

 

2.15 Access keys to unattended vessels must be lodged with Marina management.

 

2.16 All fires, leakage's and spills of fuels, oils or waste from vessels must be reported to the management immediately.

 

2.17 Before starting motors check bilge's for fumes or spills and always immediately after refueling.

 

2.18 Fire hose reels are not to be used for any other purpose than the fighting of fires.

 

2.19 All defects in, or malfunction of, marina equipment is to be reported to the Marina management.

 

2.20 Suggestions regarding any additional means to increase Marina safety and environmental protection, are encouraged and should be forwarded to the Marina management.
