1. Outline of Company
Eurasia Shipping and Management was established as a ship management company in Hong Kong in 1981 and forms the core business of the Eurasia Group of Companies which are wholly owned by the Hamburg (Germany) based ship owning company Reederei Bernhard Schulte. The Schulte family has been involved in the shipping business since 1883 and, at the present time, there are over 350 vessels in management within the Schulte Group companies, of which around 40 are owned by Bernhard Schulte.
In 1992 Eurasia Travel and Tours was established as a licensed travel agency to provide services to Eurasia Shipping and Management as well as companies outside the Group. In 1996 the company was reorganised to bring the worldwide travel and tour business under the umbrella of Eurasia Travel Network and to enable it to provide services on a global scale.
In 1994 Eurasia Shipping Services and Eurasia Marine Consultancy were established as associated companies under the umbrella of the Eurasia Group, each offering marine related services which complement the ship management activities of Eurasia Shipping and Management. Together the Eurasia Group of Companies provides ship owners throughout the world with a full range of shipping related services, and carries on a tradition of achieving customer satisfaction through business excellence.
