BGW-N Series of Shipboard Incinerators
The new BGW-N series of shipboard incinerators are certified as satisfying the requirements of the IMO's MARPOL 73/78 Annex VI, which come applicable to products installed on and after January 1, 2000, and the "CE" markings of the EU FLAG in effect since January 1, 1999. These incinerators can safely and easily burn waste oil and solid waste generated on board conforming with the provisions of the IMO's MEPC 76(40).
■Main Features
1. A unique furnace structure makes possible stable incineration, emitting no smoke at any point in the full range of combustion process from the very beginning.
2. About twenty kg (about 2001) of solid wastes can be charged at a time, and burnt in about an hour. Accordingly, there is no need for consecutive charging, and solids can be combusted simultaneously with waste oil.
3. The incinerators are designed to restrain the emission of dioxins as their exhaust temperature is rapidly cooled to 200℃ or below in conformity with the requirements for incineration plants on shore.
4. They are mounted with a modified version of the air atomizing nozzle, whose performance is already highly appreciated.
5. The ejector maintains the negative pressure in the furnace and cools the combustion gas, thereby preventing the exhaust fan from exposure to corrosive gas.
