6. This fairly extensive lesion on the back of the forearm had vague edges and, on clinical examination with the fingers, felt slightly firm (infiltrated). Loss of feeling to cortton wool and pinprick was easily demonstrated. Palpation of the nearby ulnar nerve, with comparison with the nerve on the other side of the body, was normal. Paucibotillary (PB) leprosy.
