At the end of November, 1999, the most powerful anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTSV) MALAVIYA TEN as constructed and delivered to its Indian owner.
Features
1. The vessel has its bollard pull capacity of about 160 T with 4 main engines of 3,400 PS each and two propeller shafts with kort nozzles.
2. For increased vessel maneuverability, the vessel is equipped with to controllable-pitch propellers, bow and stern thrusters and two flap ladders, and these are controlled by a joystick control unit.
