FUJI MARU 4,559-dwt Cement Carrier
The 4,559-dwt self loading / unloading cement carrier, FUJI MARU built by Shin Kurushima Hashihama Dock Co., Ltd. and delivered to Corporation for Advanced Transport & Technology and Kirishima Butsuryu K.K.in August 2000.
The cement loading / unloading system has the capacity of 1,000 t / h mechanical loading and 800 t / h pneumatic loading (2-lines), and 800 t / h mechanical unloading and 800 t / h pneumatic unloading (2-lines).
The system consists of hold bottom air slides, TC chain conveyors, buket elevators, etc. Hold is designed and built with special care for cargo residue.
A bow thruster and Schilling rudder are installed for efficient maneuverability in port.
