Sumitomo Heavy Industries Ltd.has completed the large capacity Panamax bulk carrier WORLD RULE at its Yokosuka Shipyard in February 1999.
Features
1. Seven cargo holds (including No.4 floodable hold), allowing alternate ore loading.
2. Large hatch openings with side-rolling hatch covers.
3. Equipped with an energy saving duct (SILD; Sumitomo Integrated Lammeren Duct) which produces sufficient thrust to propel the vessel with less fuel.
4. Automated engine room machinery and deck machinery.
5. Mono-fuel system for main engine and generator engines.
