PETRO MILLENNIUM 3,526 m3 Liquefied Gas Carrier
The 3,526 m3 gas carrier PETRO MILLENNIUM was built at Hashihama Works of Shin Kurushima Dockyard Co., Ltd., and delivered to Ocean Orchid S.A.in April 2000.
The vessel is a well decker, with accommodations and machinery space located aft, and designed to achieve superior propulsive performance due to the hull form developed based on the latest technology and long experiences of the shipyard.
The vessel has two (2) 1,763 m3 independent cargo tanks, IMO classified Type 2PG maximum pressure of 1.77 Mpa for carrying such liquefied gases as propane, propylene, butane, butadiene and vinyl chloride monomer (VCM).
Two (2) electric motor driven deepwell pumps (300 m3/h for LPG)are provided for unloading cargoes, and two (2) cargo compressor are installed for normal and emergency operations.
