Art Respirant founded in 1985, is a chamber orchestra formed by Young leading performers and composers in Japan. At the beginning, their activities centred upon the performance of the 20th century music, but today the vigorously deal with chamber music of all ages countries, under their motto of "Capture any piece of music, from Baroque to Modern, on the common horizon. "They make it a habit to perform same of their member's piece of work at their concert, which shows that their activity itself is a new creation beyond the limit of performer and composer. Born in 1951. He was instructed by Ohara Yasumasa. After he won the first prize at The International Guitar Competition in 1971, he has carried out performance activities mainly of contemporary works from both Japan and abroad. He was rewarded the Nakajlma Kenzo Award in 1994, the Asahi Contemporary Music Award in 1996.
