Briefing on ISME TOKYO 2000*
1. Introduction
The International Symposium on Marine Engineering by The Japan Institution of Marine Engineering (JIME or ex-MESJ) had been run every five years, e.g. 1995 in Yokohama, 1900 in Kobe.
The sixth International Symposium on Marine Engineering was held in Tokyo in 2000, shorten ISME TOKYO 2000 (Please refer to Photo 1).
Duration: 23rd-27th of October, 2000
Venue: Toshi Center Kaikan, Tokyo
The members of each committees of ISME Project are traditionally all at volunteer basis. ISME TOKYO 2000 consists of following staff members.

After some preparation meetings, the Executive Committee commenced its activities in April 1999.
Each committee in the Executive Committee was held, for instance, eight or nine times before the symposium.
