At low load, reducing cetane number decreases NO but increases THC emissions. On the condition of injection pressure Po=100MPa, smoke and particulate decreases drastically, however, NO concentration increases. Moreover, particulate emissions become less sensitive to cetane number for the case of high load but THC increases dramatically for the low cetane number at low load.
