3.3 Sliding Performance of the Coating Layers
The basic laboratory tests were done by Pin-on-Disk test rig in Mitsui. Test rig and test specimens are shown on Fig. 5 and Fig. 6, and the test conditions are shown in Table 3. Test results are shown on Fig. 7 and Fig. 8. Both coating layers recorded superior wear-resistant performance to the present materials.
