6. CONCLUSION
We tried to calculate out the man-hour as a estimate values of maintainability and tried to estimate man-hour of equipment which is loaded into the ship by analysing the several causes and the influence factors.
As a results of the investigated man-hour every 1[mh] and each maintenance occurrence number that is dividing them into 10 systems according to the loading systems.
We found these distribution is approximated a Logarithmic Normal Distribution.
Also, the man-hour are belonged less than 15[mh] which is ocupied approximately 90%. of the occurrence number from the statistical data.
As a results of the examination to the causes which have some influence on the man-hour, the estimate man-hour average X is indicated as expression 2 . They are calculated out from the Table 2,3 and 4 as in each number of repairers, each kind of vessels and each main engine outputs.
Furthermore, after these data are compensated by the evaluation mark method which is compensated by the factor of influence on the man-hour, we caluculated out the estimation values of man-hour into expression 3. According to above situations, the maintainability estimation will be able to evaluated.
By using these estimate equation, it will be able to estimate the maintenance period and level of the damage for engine plant.
Finally, we deeply appreciate to Ship's Research Institute Japan and NYK Line Ship design department Mr. Okumura. This paper couldn't make without their strong assist. I say a gratitude thickly here.
