Results of voting of P-members of ISO/TC8/SC7 "Inland navigation vessels" on ISO/CD (prEN ISO 6218: 1999-12)
We are sending you copies of ballot papers of P-members of ISO/TC8/SC7 on ISO/CD (prEN ISO 6218: 1999-12) "Inland navigation vessels - Manually operated coupling devices for push tows - Safety requirements and main dimensions".
Though the closing date for voting was set by us 21 March, we have received replies only from 5 P-members of SC7 out of 11: India (BIS), Italy (UNI), Romania (ASRO), Sweden (SIS), Russia (its opinion coincides with the opinion of the secretariat of ISO/TC8/SC7).
5 countries confirmed ISO/CD (prEN ISO 6218: 1999-12), but 3 out of them made comments on the content of the Table 1 (India, Italy, Russia)
There are no replies (ballot papers) for the present from USA (ANS), China(CSBTS), Korea, Dem.P.R. of (CSK), Cuba (NC), Czech Republic (CSNI) and United Kingdom (BSI).
The secretariat of ISO/TC8/SC7 didn't expect to receive replies from P-members practically inactive for a long time: Korea, Dem.P.R. of (CSK) and Cuba (NC), but it expected to receive replies from the rest of P-members of SC7.
In our opinion, a technical error has stolen in the Table 1 of prEN ISO 6218: 1999-12 when the Table 1 was setting up. Table 1 of prEN ISO 6218: 1999-12 must repeat the analogous Table 1 in the prEN ISO 6218: 1999-06 (doc. N 276 E).
