3. Floating pneumatic rubber fender
After the Tokyo meeting, the SC9 Secretariat sent SC9 members and the ISO/TC67/SC7 (Offshore structures) Secretariat a letter to request opinions on the subject item.
With respect to the subject CD, SC9 members and related international organizations such as OCIMF (Oil Companies International Marine Forum) and INTERTANKO (The International Association of Independent Tanker Owners) and leading oil-related companies offered comments.
At present, Mr. Yazaki, the convener of the subject item, is preparing an amended draft with these comments taken into it.
The amended draft is expected to be sent to SC9 members, TC67/SC7 Secretariat, OCIMF and INTERTANKO around end of May this year, as 2ndISO/CD 17357.
