Resolution 102-2000
(Intermodal transport systems and equipment)
CEN/TC300 takes the position, that maritime standardization as for "Intermodal Transport Systems and Equipment" shall be carried out by the new ISO/TC8/SC11 "Intermodal and short sea shipping", with chairman and secretariat in Romania.
Resolution 103-2000
(Development of stakeholders' interest)
CEN/TC300 welcomes the intention of its chairman, Mr. van der Schaat to put more efforts into development of the interest of the maritime industry and other stakeholders. This should be arranged by:
- publication of articles in respective magazines;
- publication of standard booklet;
- harmonization and reduction of national standards.
CN/TC 300 will pay attention to these efforts in the future.
Members of CEN/TC300 are requested to support these efforts.
Resolution 104-2000
(Financial support by European Framework Programme)
CEN/TC300 takes notes of the possibilities for financial support from the European Framework Programme, in particular its programme for "Competitive and sustainable growth" and its Key actions 2 and 3.
CEN/TC300 establishes on ad-hoc group to study this programme and the practical conditions for financial support from this programme.
Members of the ad hoc group are: Mr. Schade, Mr. van Elk and Mr.Molstrand (Ad-hoc group coordinator).
