(Oil spill Identification)
CEN/TC 300 takes note of the today's status of the processing of the PQ on the Nordtest document NTC 001: 1991 - "Oil spill identification".
CEN/TC300 notes with the deepest concern that CMC has not given CEN/TC 300 the opportunity to express Its position to the content of the actual document and its further progressing in CEN.
CEN/TC300 is prepared to offer its maritime competence with respect to issues like:
- main types of samples
- collection of samples from the water surface
- obtaining samples from ships
- taking samples In machinery spaces of ships which are included in the actual document.
