ISO/CD 17899 Marine electric window wipers
ISO/CD 17899 was circulated for comments and votes in March 2000.
The result of the CD-voting indicates consensus to the document and its progression to the DIS-stage. The comments will be resolved by the project leader and the team of experts in UK, and included in an updated version of the document to the DIS-stage.

Experience from R&D projects
It is foreseen that results from recent R&D project on ships bridge layout are taken into practical use in the industry, and that experience from such programmes can form the basic for new standards work in SC5.
