1. Title and scope
Title: Ship's bridge layout
Scope: Standardization of
- basic requirements for ship's bridge layout
- basic solution regarding the location of the different categories of instrument/equipment, as well as the arrangement and layout of the bridge
- dimensions of instruments, equipment and consoles to be used on the bridge, based on ergonomic principles
taking into account wherever appropriate
- interfaces and protocols for integrated electronic systems upon ship's bridges
and
- presentation of data and sensor readings on equipment upon ship's bridges
