The following terms and conditions apply to the use of the reservation assistance service provided by the Welcome Inn Reservation Center (WIRC).

 

1. Number of Persons

WIRC accepts reservation requests for parties of up to 10 persons.

2. No Double Bookings

You agree that you shall not attempt to book directly at an establishment that you have asked us to book for you.

3. Changes in Travel Plans

WIRC cannot accept more than two changes in your booking arrangements.

4. Guaranteeing Your Reservation

On confirming your reservation, we shall ask you to supply some additional information and to guarantee your reservation using a major credit card. Please be aware that if you do not respond to us within five (5) days we shall have to cancel your reservation. WIRC shall not bill your credit-card account directly, but may pass the information to the Welcome Inn, which may then bill in the event that you fail to follow their cancellation policy. All charges are to be settled directly with the Welcome Inn itself.

5. Cancellation

You agree to follow the cancellation policy of the Welcome Inn that you are booking with. In the event that you need to cancel, please contact the WIRC head office without delay. If the head office is closed, please contact the Welcome Inn directly.

Please remember that we offer our service free of charge. Failure to honor reservations greatly harms our ability to continue providing this service.

6. Refusal of Service to No-Shows

We reserve the right to refuse service to persons who have previously failed to honor reservations made through WIRC.

7. Time of Arrival in Japan

If you are booking for the date of your arrival in Japan, please note that your flight must arrive no later than 7 P.M. to allow sufficient time for check-in.

8. If You Speak Japanese...

Our service is intended exclusively for those who do not speak Japanese. Those who can speak the language are requested to make reservations directly with the Welcome Inn of their choice.

9. Scope of Service

WIRC's reservation assistance service is concluded upon completion of check-in.

10. Limitation of Liability

WIRC accepts no responsibility for settlement of any disputes related to a guest's stay at a Welcome Inn, except in cases involving failure to abide by terms of reservation agreements arranged through this service.

11. Travel Information:

WIRC is not equipped to provide general travel information. You can obtain information by visiting any Japan National Tourist Organization office, or by visiting their Japan Travel Updates website at http://www.jnto.go.jp.

12. Policies and Conditions Subject to Change Without Notice

WIRC reserves the right to make changes, without prior notice, to our policies (including to these terms and conditions) and to the contents of our directories and related websites.

 

To Travel Agents

 

The WIRC reservation assistance service is designed to help travelers who are making reservations on their own. Our agreements with our sponsors make it impossible for us to provide this service to travel agents. Travel agents are free to view our website (http://www.itcj.or.jp), however, and can make reservations with Welcome Inns which have "Online Booking" or "Direct Booking" button on their page.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
