Practice
1) Now that you can produce single vowels with or without consonants, let us try to phonate polysyllabic words and phrases and short sentences.
2) We will practice in producing as many sounds as we can on one air intake.
However, as it is of no account, if you speak in haste and can not make yourself understood, never fail to make a point of speaking slowly but distinctly. (Practice with mastery of five syllables in view.)
3) Let's try to keep the current of air from the esophagus constant. Try to phonate as if you are going to make, as it were, a path of voice. Say "aaaaah", "aaaaay", "eeeee", "oooooh", "uuuuu".....Good. Then pronounce "banana", "sixty-six", "measurement", etc. as if to put them on this path.
