4. Membership Report
The matter of non-financial members was discussed and it was agreed that non-financial members should be approached for payment at Tokyo and, if not in attendance, by invoice.

5. Financial Report
Income and expenditure against budget was considered and the EXCO expressed satisfaction with the increase in the operating balance from 1998 to 1999. The EXCO noted the need to continue to increase "profits" in order to put the on-going operation of AMETIAP on to a firmer base.
6. AGM Issues
As an important part of the 2000 activities it was agreed to:
- approach IMO to follow up on the Model Course opportunity.
- develop a list of experts from the members for transmission on to IMO and other relevant organisations.
