The competent authority is Yantai Maritime Safety Administration, China. Its calling name is Chengshan Jiao VTS Centre.
4 Information to be provided to ships and procedures to be followed
.1 The Chengshan Jiao VTS centre may provide all kinds of information service to the vessels at the request of vessels, or when the VTS centre considers necessary.
.2 Vessels shall keep watching on VHF channel 16 or on the channel appointed by the VTS centre.
5 Working channels and languages
.1 Working channels
Calling channel is channel 16.
The working channels of Chengshan Jiao VTS centre are channels 8,9 and 65.
.2 Working languages
The working languages are Chinese or English, using where possible the Standard Marine Navigational Vocabulary recommended by IMO.

.1 Composition and functions of the Chengshan Jiao VTS centre
Chengshan Jiao VTS centre comprises seven systems i.e. radar system, VHF communication system, VHF DF system, information processing and displaying system, information transmission system, information recording and replaying system and hydro-meteorological system. Its functions are data collecting, data evaluation, information service, navigation assistance service and joint operations support.
