近年、国境を越えた市民社会が協働してグローバルな問題に取り組む「トランスナショナル・シビルソサエティー」の台頭が目覚ましい。地雷禁止条約を成立させた「オタワ・プロセス」の事例から今後の課題等について考える。
"Transnational Civil Society-The Ottawa Process and Beyond"
Recent years have seen increasing collaboration among civil societies across national borders, giving noticeable rise to a larger transnational civil society that is addressing itself to the solution of global issues. Future challenges of this transnational civil society are considered beginning with the Ottawa Process through which the Anti-Land Mine Treaty was launched.
