- Grudelines for determining the severity of brain damage for head trauma-
Mild: Brain damage with headache and dizziness but no consciousness disorder
Moderate: brain damage with loss of consciousness for less than 15 minutes
(a relatively short period)

Severe: (a severe case that is not life-threatening)
1]Brain damage accompanied by loss of consciousness for more than 15 minutes
2]With mild loss of memory for less than 3 hours but no abnormal pupil reaction or problems moving the extremities

Severe: (life-threatening)
1]Brain damage accompanied by loss of consciousness for more than 15 min with obviously abnormal pupil reaction and problems moving the extremities, etc.
2]With loss of memory for 3-12 hours
3]With a complex skull fracture
