The remaining Annexes (Annex 5 -Liaisons and Annex 6 - P members) are under development. The document will be completed by the TC 8 Secretariat and updated when necessary. We now have electronic formatted document with address information and e-mail for better than 99 % of members.
Information on EPSO
It is expressed that the self-propelled floating objects now in use by the oil industries are in fact ships with specialized configurations. In view of the fact that these vessels are coming under the purview of IMO, TC 8 in accordance with its approved scope will take up international standards for these ships in close coordination with ISO/TC67, which provides the standards peculiar to the oil industries. TC 8 will insure the proper interface with IMO.
2. PRESENTATION ON ISO TC SERVER BY MR. ABRAM, ISO/CS
Mr. Abram provided an informative presentation on efforts underway at the Central Secretariat to provide ISO TCs with capability to review ISO documents on line electronically via the TC Server. He indicated that "passwords" world be provided to the appropriate TC persons to be able to accomplish the tasks. In addition to this he discussed the Standards Developers' Information Site to be used by SDOs (standards developing organizations). He provided an update and current statistics briefing on the steps of a draft standard and the approval process. The Chairman and the members of the Advisory Group thanked Mr. Abram for his most informative presentation. Mr. Abram provided copies of his presentation to the attendees.

1. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATIONS
・ 8 AG N 524 Recommendations 28th meeting ISO/TC 8 AG
The recommendations, as given in doc. 8 AG N 524 and cited in this report, are unanimously approved during the meeting. Recommendations 121, 122 and 123 are to be implemented directly. Recommendation 124 will be submitted to members of TC 8 for formal approval. Romania is requested to proceed immediately with the preparation of necessary documents for establishing a new subcommittee 11 in order to permit early distribution to the members of TC 8 for their decision.
1. CLOSURE OF THE MEETING
The Chairman and the delegates thank Mr. Crudu, ICEPRONAV and all the representatives from Romania for the outstanding hospitality of Romania and for the preparations and support for the conduct of the meeting.
Then the Chairman closed the meeting with the traditional blowing of the boatswain's pipe.
