I have pleasure in informing you that ISO/TMB has now approved the following resolution:
Technical Management Board resolution 61/1999
Establishment of a subcommittee in ISO/TC 8
The Technical Management Board,
ratifies the establishment of ISO/TC 8/SC 11 Ships and marine technology /Intermodal and short sea shipping, and notes that the secretariat has been allocated to ASRO (Romania).
A copy of this telefax is being sent to Mrs. J. Toma, from ASRO, kindly requesting her to inform us of the name and address of the secretary of ISO/TC 8/SC 11.
On occasion of dicussions in Galati this year, I was told that the person should be Mr. Corneliu Closca from ICEPRONAV.
