AP 217 Interpretation
■ Mapping and Interpretation of AP 217 is being led by Julian Fowler of PDT Solutions, Ltd.

・ All major issues have been resolved
■ Some highlights of Julian's Analysis include:
・ Any attempt to develop a "hybrid" database implementation of AP 227 with any of the ship APs is likely to be difficult
・ The AP 216/218 team has taken such a different approach to interpretation that
>> common concepts at the ARM level are mapped to completely different IR constructs in the respective AIMS
>> This is amplified by the "no subtyping" policy that AP 216/218 have adopted -- ironically, in the interests of interoperability!
