・ ISO TC 184/SC4/WG3/T23 Ship Common model- Outfit and FurnishingとのFuture Liaisonは、装備と家具や取り付けられる区画/艤装品の情報を交換するAPについて明確にして行く。このAPは、これら交換対象情報のデータ記述フォーマットと内容を特定するものである。
・ CEN/ISSS Standardisation Open Forumにて家具関係の製品とビジネスデータの交換のためのWorkshopが開催される。さらにISO TC 184/SC4 NWI "Application Protocol for furniture product data & project data"のballotが2000年1月6日に終了し、承認された。
