・両APともInternal checklist reviewの期限を12月30日までとし、結果を各AP Editorに返信する。
・Issues logをSEDSフォーマットを用いて作成する。
・Uwe LangbeckerがMARINTEKもしくはMARINに、AP216 QC Internal reviewの402〜414を担当してもらえるか確認することになった。
・またJohn Kendallは、D251及び他のSEASPRITE documentsを利用できるようにする。
・HTML形式のチェックリストを元に、WORD Documentを作成する。
・AP216及び218と同じく2000年3月に7years-ruleの対象となるAP215及び217は、Mappingが完了しておらず今同QC Checklistの作成作業にはいることはできなかった。現在、急ピッチで作業を行っており、7years-ruleの適用を防げるように事務局との交渉をJim Mays氏が行っている。
3.2 PLCS(by Nigel Newling)
・PLCS(Product Life Cycle Support)InitiativeのFounder memberであるMoD(UK)よりProjectの概要について紹介があった。
・99/10にThree yearsのFull time projectとしてStartした。Projectの目的は、reduce life cycle cost、improve product availability by improving the quality and accessibility of the technical information needed to support a complex product in operation useである。
・New standardsの対象Areasは、life cycle configuration management and change control、support engineering, inventory management and the conduct of maintenance and defect reportingである。
・ISO Working GroupはTC184/SC4/WG3/T8に属する。
・Ship APsとの関わりとしては、AP226 and other ship APsがPLCSアプローチに適合するかどうか、ということである。
3.3 Product Structure/WG 10 (by Uwe Langbecker)
・Palm Springsで行われたworkshopに出席。
・Modulesのインパクト
・Aps間のハーモナイゼーション、インタオペラビリティ
・ドキュメントの減少
・インプリメンテーションの強化
・PDES,Inc.により開発された最初のModulesがリリースされた。内容は以下の通り。
・scope
・ARM
・使用した他のModules
・mapping shortform
・Ship groupにとって最大のインパクトは、"PDM schema"であるSCM。
