4.4 SEASPRITE (by Frank Stolte)
SEASPRITE is ending in June 1999 and does not seems to have any extension project that would substitute it at the moment. There was a ShipRigth demo, it uses EDM Technology Interfaced. The exchanged file was a midship section. Time for translation of STEP file about 3 minutes. The exchange of the midship section was successtul and it included a bulkhead section (from NAPPA). Ship type is double hull tanker with central tank (3 tanks). They can also select particular parts from the original midship section and make modifications that will be automatic incorporated in the model in a later stage.
Larry Benthall (ABS): Is there gonna be a document such as "Lessons Learn from SEASPRITE"? Seems to be interesting but Frank does not know if it will be made or not.
