Dear colleagues,
I would like to express my sincere thanks to all members of the correspondence group for your cooperation and I am sorry for the late circulation of this letter.
At present, I got the answer to circular letter No.2 from two members. The comments by Poland were related to the exchange of the samples. The comments by Canada is attached as enclosure (1). Enclosure (2) is our comments on enclosure (1).
Enclosure (3) is the draft progress report of the C.G. and its explanation which is not a part of the report.
Please continue to look for the materials suitable for the tests and, if possible, submit the information on the materials by 7 November 1999.
Please provide comments on the draft report by 7 November 1999. After that, I would like to submit the progress report to the IMO and circulate it to the members, simultaneously.
I would like to ask you again to keep the dead line of the comments.
Best regards,
