FUJIN Automated Pneumatic Reclaimer
Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. has completed FUJIN, equipped with large capacity mud pumping plant, backhoes and crusher, which is the largest class pneumatic reclaimer, designed for continuous, long distance transport of dredged material in large-scale reclamation work.
By mixing compressed air, the system can convey high solid content slurry, thus minimizing disposal site for settling the muddy water and greatly reduces risk of pollution.
The vessel, including the pumping plant, is fully automated for safe, continuous operation, monitoring and recording of the pumping system, compressors and electric power systems.
Design Features：
1. Screens, breaking feeders, belt conveyors and joe crusher for automatic removal and processing of foreign substance allow transport of various kind of materials including viscous clay and hard rock.
2. Continuous operation is possible by controlling and keeping the compressed air at optimum condition for each material.
3. Computer system allows real time monitoring, controlling and recording of quantity of material.
