The 6,506-dwt self loading/unloading cement carrier YOSHU MARU NO.5 was built at Kanda Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. and delivered to Nippon Shipping Co. Ltd. in September 1997.
Features
1. The vessel is a cement carrier for domestic coastal service.
2. Cement hold is divided into three (3) holds.
3. Cement loading/unloading system has a capacity of 1,600 T/H mechanical loading and 1,000 T/H pneumatic unloading.
4. A bow thruster, CPP and Schilling rudder are installed for good maneuverability.
