STAR HARMONIA 46,604-dwt Open Hatch Bulk Carrier
The 46,604-dwt open hatch bulk carrier "STAR HARMONIA", built at Tamano Works of Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (MES), was delivered to her owner Poseidon Ltd. in January, 1998.
STAR HARMONIA is the 4th vessel out of the series of four H-class vessels.
Her elder sisters, "STAR HERDLA", "STAR HIDR" and "STAR HANSA" were built and delivered at MES Tamano Works in 1994 and 1995.
The series of vessels have been receiving high evaluation for their reliability and efficiency.
Features
1. Two (2) sets of gantry cranes of Mitsui-PACECO developed with advanced technology are equipped for efficient cargo handling.
2. Bow and stern thrusters and Becker rudder are provided for better maneuverability.
3. Wheelhouse is designed suitable for one-man bridge operation.
