The 25,012-dwt bulk carrier "GLORY CHALLENGER"
built at the Imabari Shipyard of Imabari shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was delivered to the owner Glory Challenger Shipping Corporation in July, 1998.
Features
1. This bulk carrier is a flush decker with forecastle and poop, having a bulbous bow and transom stern.
2. She has five (5) cargo holds with wide hatch opening to facilitate the loading of bulk cargoes including hot steel coils and grain. And the shape of the hold is box shape for convenience in loading and unloading cargoes. Homogeneous cargo can be loaded or unloaded at two different ports.
3. She is equipped with three (3) electro-hydraulic deck cranes, each with a lifting capacity of 30.5 tons.
