It has been known generally for quite some time that the fleet of so called handy-size log/bulk carriers has been composed mainly of ships below 28,000 dwt due to several reasons concerning ship's operation.

Based on this design, the ship is able to make wide selection for calling ports and opportunities for gaining economical benefits from ship's operation can be increased.
Furthen Nos. 2, 3 & 4 cargo holds are provided with double hull structure and Nos. 1 & 5 cargo holds have top-side tanks and lower hopper tanks.
All hatches except No.1 hatch are equipped with wide hatch covers of 20.0m x 19.6m which will facilitate eargo loading and unloading work.
