The 4,000m3 gas carrier G. HARVEST was built at Hashihama Works of Shin Kurushima Dockyard Co., Ltd., and delivered in June, 1997 to Gas International S.A.
The vessel is a well decker, with accommodations and machinery space located aft, and designed to achieve superior propulsive performance due to the hull form developed based on the latest technology and long experiences of the shipyard.
The vessel has three (3) 1,339m3 independent cargo tanks, IMO-classified Type 2 PG maximum pressure of 18.0 kgf/cm2 for carrying such liquefied gases as propane, propylene, butane, butadiene and vinylchloride monomer (VCM).
Three (3) electric motor driven deepwell pumps (350m3/h for LPG) are provided for unloading cargoes, and one (1) cargo compressor is installed both for normal and emergency operations.
Machineries in the engine room are monitored and controlled from the engine control room applying NK un-manned notation.
