However, to the contrary, with this new PD program, it is possible that the propeller blade section is automatically designed with the pressure distribution preferable for the flow over the blade surface, destining the propeller performance, to be given first. That is, the program has made so-called inverse analysis possible. With this new program, it was made easier for us to make finer designings promptly in order to reply to our customers' diversified requirements, in addition to the remarkable improvement of efficiency for the development of new higher-performance blade sections. Figure 2 shows the system of the PD propeller designing computer program.
