8. CONCLUSION
Since its market debut as propulsion and auxiliary engines in 1994, the DK series has been operating successfully on heavy oil for over 25,000 hours without trouble, and has gained the trust of our customers.
Covering a certain power range by combinating different bores(DK-20, DK-26, DK-28)with different number of cylinders(3,5,6- - -) this design/development concept will certainly provide our customers with a reliable and durable product at high degree in the long run without interruption.
The DK series actively incorporates both the new technology and environmental protective measures. Daihatsu Diesel will certainly try to make DK series be highly reliable and durable whilst listening to the opinions of our customers.
