Regulation 7.3
3 Parties shall notify
the Organization in a
timely manner for dissemination
to all Member States
any information regarding:
| (a) |
significant occurrences of harmful
aquatic organisms and
pathogens (e.g. toxic
algal blooms) in the
area under its
jurisdiction, likely
to be of relevance to
ballast water loading
and/or its discharge; |
| (b) |
[the location and capacities of any
facilities for the reception,
treatment or
safe disposal of ballast
water and/or
sediments, as appropriate;]26 and |
| (c) |
[without prejudice to confidential
information] any research
results concerning
the application and effectiveness
of new or
equivalent ballast water
management, sampling
and analysis technologies-or
control
equipment with a view
to evaluation and
incorporation, as appropriate,
into Appendix
1, Part A. |
