Description of traffic separation scheme
(a) A separation zone 0.6 miles wide, bounded by a line
connecting the following
geographical points:
(1) 09E07.3'S; 78E37.7'W
(2) 09E07.3'S; 78E40.2'W
(b) A traffic lane for westbound traffic between the
separation zone and a line
connecting the following geographical points:
(3) 09E06.5'S; 78E37.7'W
(4) 09E05.6'S; 78E40.2'W
(c) A traffic lane for eastbound traffic between the
separation zone and a line
connecting the following geographical points:
(5) 09E08.2'S; 78E37.7'W
(6) 09E09.2’S; 78E40.2'W
(d) A precautionary area with a radius of 0.2 miles
(370m). See note on
precautionary area, as a positional aid a long-range light
buoy will be placed at
the geographical centre point:
090E07.3'S; 78E37.0'W
(e) Principal traffic bearings:
090E - 270E and 067E - 291E
