THE RESULT OF THE CONSIDERATION ON THE
ADDITIONAL LIGHTS WHICH
INDICATE POWER-DRIVEN SAILING VESSELS
The results of the consideration on the additional lights
are as follows:
(1) A white light with a white, red and green
light combined in one lantern
This combination of lights might be misunderstood as
the combination of a red light and a white light, which
represents a fishing vessel not engaged in trawling when
it is not making the way through the water.
(2) A red light with a white, red and green light
combined in one lantern
This combination of lights might be misunderstood as
the combination of two red lights, which represents a
vessel not under command or restricted in their ability
to manoeuvre when it is not making way through the water.
(3) A green light with a white, red and green
light combined in one lantern
This combination of lights might be misunderstood as
the combination of a green light and a red light, which
represents an additional exhibition for a sailing vessel.
(4) A flashing yellow light with a white, red and
green light combined in one lantern
This combination of lights might be misunderstood as
the combination of a flashing yellow light and a masthead
light, which represents an air-cushion vessel when
operating in the non-displacement mode.
(5) A yellow light with a white, red and green
light combined in one lantern
A yellow light under a red light or a green light
might be misunderstood as a white light.
