AMENDMENT
Delete UN No.2773 - PHTHALIMIDE DERIVATIVE PESTICIDE, SOLID, TOXIC
Delete the entry in the IBC table and in section 7.1.13 in the General Introduction and in
the indices.
Insert the following new enty:
UN No.3345 - PHENOXYACETIC ACID DERIVATIVE PESTICIDE,
SOLID, TOXIC
.1 Include in the IBC Iist in section 26 to this document.
.2 Include in section 7.1 . 1 3 in the General Introduction.
Insert the following new entry:
UN No.3349 - PYRETHROID PESTICIDE, SOLID, TOXIC
.1 Include in the IBC Iist in section 26 to this document.
.2 Include in section 7.1 . 1 3 in the General Introduction.
Amend the title at the top of the page to read "Classification of pesticides".
Since the pesticides table has now been deleted, move this text to section 2.7 in the
introduction to class 6. I on page 6012.
Add the text of the current footnote as a note at the end of paragraph 2:
“Note: LD50 toxicty datafor a number ofcommon pesticides ........
Replace the existing text in paragraph 3 with the following:
"The proper shipping name used in the transport of the pesticide should be selected on the
basis of the active ingredient, of the physical state of the pesticide and any subsidiary risks
it may exhibit."
Delete the Pesticides Table.
UN No.2862 - VANADIUM PENTOXIDE
.1 Amend packaging group “?”T to read “?”
.2 Include in the IBC Iist as shown in section 26 to this document.
For the following entries, amend the text under Observations to read as follows:
"When offered for transport as pesticides, this substance should be shipped under the
relevant pesticide entry and in accordance with the relevant pesticide provisions (see 2.6
and 2.7 in the introduction to this class)"
