● Uwe will act as co-chair for Beijing Meeting in Jim's absence.
● Justifications for slippages in AP Schedule are to be submitted by September.
● Part 41 is changed to require a 4-digit year to solve the Y2K problem.
EMSA A-Liaison with ISO - Advantaecs (Personal communication with Time)：
● To liaise with other groups to tell them about the developments in Ship group to avoid duplication of work. Some of the methodologies that were developed by Ship group are applicable to other groups. Some other groups are doing similar work and they can use the Ship group's experience. And vice versa. PDES Inc. has a lot of expertise in STEP and that can be brought into Ship STEP through A-Liaison status.
● To push through NWI. A-Liaison means EMSA can propose NWI to SC4
