for end users is to have standalone system to check model exported using latest translators. Problem has been minimalised in the latest systems, but only need 1 of these to export to other industries rather than upgrading a whole office with licences.
Modularisation and AICs: Tim Turner/Zabi Bazari
An overview of the concept of modularisation was given. Reference was made to SCM and BBs of ship group.
AICs has no ARM part. Modules have ARM requirements with an AIM part for mapping.Modues documentation is similar to that of APs.
Modules may consist of more than one schema. This needs change in related parts. There will be different types of modules: frame work modules to represent the structure.
WG12: Jochen Haenisch
40 series are being updated. By June all parts will be technically stable. Review comments are requested by Beijing. Ballots closed by Orlando. There are some modifications after that.
Status:
● Part 43 finished
● Part 44 one more week
● Part 41 end of the month
● Part 42 for CD and others for DIS.
There is requirement from outside (214) for a stable 40 series so that effective interpretation could be done. Most of the parts have EXPRESS errors as to WHERE rules. Technical corrigendum will be provided to correct this. The new versions will be error free.
AICs: Most of the AIC have passed CD ballot and registered for DIS.
Interpretation guidelines: All changes and updates are delayed till August due to manpower shortage.
Short term and long term activities were discussed: A resolution on PWI for history based work item will come up on Friday. (short term)
Parametrics: Prof.Sugimura works on a model. This model has some parametric assembly features.
Presentation on digital signatures in STEP. How it could be included in both ARM and AIM was discussed.
