There are overlaps between the scope of AP226 and the NWI. Against this AP226 raised five major issues some of which are：
● Machinery and Equipment Status Data are in the scope of AP226 and should be removed from the NWI.
● Each AP should preserve the full lifecycle of a product. The NWI should be product‐centered rather than lifecycle phase‐centered.
Documentation：
● A better documentation structure is needed for STEP standards as voiced by the 5th EWG. This wll be reflected to QC.
Ship Common Model (Tim Turner)
● SCMのdocument N701がSOLISに載っている。 N701には、BBのshortform listingとversion numbers、AP cross reference listが含まれる。
● 最新バージョンは1.3。'98.04.25にフリーズされた。
● SCM & Planning model： Planning modelがAP216のrequirementsに基づいて修正された。AICsはplanning modelに含められるであろう。
Ship operational Logs NW1 (Jochen Haenisch)
● ノルウェーのプロジェクト"IT in Ship operations"で1996年に開発されたShip Operational Data modelに基づいている。
● NWI Ballot Status： 9ケ国が投票;8ケ国がscopeに同意、USAは80のコメントと共に反対した。 (France, Japan and Norway will actively participate; Italy, Germany and UK may follow suit.)
● Business caseがHoegh Pilot Shipによって定義された。sea event reports, fuel and LO data, envirommental data, bunkering data, etc.
● このNWIは、ship survey modelも含む。
● IECI162‐4 (real time data from control/monitoring network)とAP226とのharmonisationがされるであろう。
DNV wants ship operational data of 4000 ships in its class to be transferred online from ship to Nauticus. The work that has already been completed (as reflected in NWI)include：
● Fuel oil stocks： inforrmation for salvagers in case of grounding, etc. how much oil and of what quality in which tanks.
● Periodic Maintenance lntervals：
● Equipment failure is reported from ships to Nauticus.
TC8/SC10 has the need for data model for ship operatlon.
Maintenance reports are now in AP226 and therefore they were removed from NWI.
