Report from working group 19 quality aspects of power supply systems.
The working groups have not met since there have been no technical inputs and the convenor has compiled this report.
From the information available at Kista see document 18 (Kista WG 19)8 the convenor gas made a NWIP for an addendum to IEC60092-101 to adapt paragraph 2.8.3. Of the amendment to include voltage tolerances of DC systems with batteries connected during charging.
This NWIP included a draft for vote comment
The secretary withheld the distribution of the draft to use it as an example for the new system that working groups shall remain responsible for the maintenance of their standards. The convenor is not sure this would mean the adaptation of 92-10lv as a total for maintenance or only the part WG19 has made.
Either way has to be agreed by the working group. The convenor also understands that the maintenance responsibility is an ongoing action and would like some limiting description of this task. It is noted that this working group has two new members Mr. John Grace USA and Mr. Brendan Thompson to help with the work.
I would like to welcome them and look forward to discuss their views on above with them.
